Welcome to the official site for the Pablo Milan Gallery.

Welcome to the official online gallery of the late Pablo Antonio Milan, nationally acclaimed contemporary artist. Milan died suddenly in May 2017 after a dynamic 37-year career that resulted in his paintings in both private and corporate collections throughout the world.

Renowned for his use of bold colors and his distinctive style, Milan was an expressionistic colorist, employing innovative techniques of layering washes of fast drying acrylics at times reaching 25 layers in one painting, powerful brush strokes, splatters and palette knife to reveal a mystical illusion of the Southwest.

Milan, primarily a self-taught artist, was accepted into his first gallery at the age of 17 and was shown in galleries from Florida to California, including his own gallery in Santa Fe. At the time of his death, Milan left behind a legacy of painting innovation and a wealth of original paintings and limited edition prints.
